I'm about two month late into 2023 but I wanted to get back into blogging and writing about all the fun things going on in the Kpop world in Colorado! In 2023 we already have many fun events planned. Some events we've already done before and some new! In January and February we've already had 3 Cupsleeves, a concert, and our 6th annual valentines party!
On January 23rd I had my first event of 2023 - we were celebrating P1Harmony's second time in Colorado with a cupsleeve! This time I partnered with Kpop Zone Colorado to bring you this fun event. We celebrated at Colorado Tea Station with 2 featured drinks specially made for the event. My personal favorite the P1ece - a bubble green tea, and the P1oneer - a matcha ice cream milk green tea.
,We also celebrated with a special backdrop, freebies, and Kpop Zone vendored with limited P1Harmony merch! It was so exciting to see so many familiar, as well as new, faces to help celebrate the boys! We had over 100 participants in the event and I couldn't be happier with the turn out!
On January 24th was the actual concert for P1Harmony. It was held once again at the Fillmore Auditorium and as expected they did amazing! I unfortunately was unable to take any photos but i can say they killed it like always. My favorite song they performed was off their new album and is called BFF! I highly recommend it for a fun up beat sound .
Moving on to February, on February 11th I partnered with LovingLou on twitter to bring you our 4 years with Vanner cupsleeve event! It was appropriately valentines day themed based off their debut date - filled with lots of pinks and hearts and sweets! We celebrated at Ju's Coffee this time. Once again with a lovely featured drink of strawberry milk tea and lemon popping boba, as well as the usual backdrop and freebies! This time, however, to honor Denver's official boygroup we chose to also collect hand written valentines from you - the Denvanner crowd - to show and send to the boys!
The celebration couldn't have come at a more better time as well considering Vanner has joined to competition show Peak Time for struggling idol groups. I highly recommend you check out the show and listen to this talented and determined groups story. Makes me prouder and prouder to support them every day. You can watch the show live on TikTok at 6am on Wednesdays on the Peak Time official page or playback through Viki- and make sure to vote for Vanner in the polls!
On February 18th KonnectPop and i came together to celebrate our 6th annual Valentines day party! Every year it grows just a little but more and it never fails to shock me on how fun the event can be. We bring back the elementary school valentine exchange by decorating boxes and collecting specially made valentines for each other. This year we held a competition for the best decorated box and the creativity was UNREAL! The prize for the winner was a pair of tickets to the upcoming BTS Rave on March 4th or a gift card to the yummy angry chicken!
Along with the valentine exchange the party was full of smiles from tasty snacks, a photo op opportunity, and games! I want to give a big thank you to everyone who attended either for the first time this year or as a regular. These fun celebrations wouldn't be possible without you and I can't wait to hold event more fun parties like this one!
Lastly for the events that have already happened in the first couple months of 2023, on February 25th & 26th I partnered with BananaJinTrade to bring you our Pawsome Pawty with Sope! This years celebration was dog themed in honor of Jhope and Suga's beloved pups. We celebrated at Snowl #2 off Parker Rd. and had such an amazing turn out!
For this event Snowl hand crafted 3 special drinks for us. The Mickey and Holly Peanut Butter Treat, the Purple Hope, and the Sweet Like Suga! All three drinks were super tasty but I have to admit the Micky and Holly tasted just like a peanut butter cup and I'm a sucker for peanut butter and chocolate so it was by far my favorite.
Like most of my events we also had a special backdrop completed with a picket fence and some inflatable dog friends! We also welcomed 11 vendors this time to help make both days a success and even more special.
Lastly, like most of my events we were collecting donations for charity. This time we were collecting pet supplies to be donated to Aurora Pet Shelter. I was simply in awe with how generous everyone was and I am happy to report we collected over 400 items of donation for the shelter! As a thank you for donating each participant got entered into a raffle - this time to win a special bag filled with official sope goodies.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to this event and who attended and participated in the other events. The support means the world to me and I couldn't do it without you!
Please be sure to check out the calendar for all upcoming events - March is PACKED and you don't want to miss it! If you want to support me and help me get ready for events consider purchasing an item from my wish list or donating on venmo!
