The Colorado Kpopper will present Walk Out of the Darkness once again in 2021 in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness. The auction & charity gala evening will be located at 8200 Southpark Circle in Littleton, CO on Saturday, September 25th from 4pm to 8pm. The event will feature a live K-Pop auction featuring rare and special official & fan-made merchandise, light bites & snacks, and performances by local DJ Innaseoul.
Our community is proud to bring this auction event to the community in person this year, following a successful online version during the 2020 pandemic. Musical performances, random dancing, Korean food, and other entertainment features will be available this year, with free entry. The goal this year is to raise $1,000, matching last year's unprecedented success. “We’re hosting this event to continue to support the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness. Many of our community members have been affected by this issue, and it’s close to our heart.” Says Sage Sharkey, the Colorado Kpopper. “This will be our 4th year in a row with this event, and I look forward to continuing to see everyone again in person for this great cause.” Walk Out of the Darkness is hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Community Walks, held in hundreds of cities across the country, are the core of the Out of the Darkness movement, which began in 2004. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. Colorado Kpopper works to support small businesses and bring together K-Pop lovers across Colorado to build friendships and create everlasting memories across the state. Every event goes beyond the celebration, with proceeds going to a multitude of great causes and local non-profit organizations
