I’m Back, ColoradoKpopper 💙
After more than a year away, I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to say that ColoradoKpopper is officially back. This past year of hiatus was incredibly important for me. I took a step back to focus on myself, and during that time I was able to accomplish so many personal goals that I’m really proud of. I started a new job, graduated from college, cleaned up my finances, and most importantly, got myself into a healthier and more stable place than I’ve been in for a long time. Taking that time wasn’t easy, but it was necessary—and I’m grateful I did. Now, coming back, I’m beyond excited to reconnect with this community. I can’t wait to see familiar faces again, catch up with longtime friends, and also meet new ones along the way. This community has always meant so much to me, and I’ve missed the energy, the joy, and the shared love for K-pop that we all bring together at events. That said, as I return, there will be some changes. One of my main goals moving forward is to officially formalize ColoradoKpopper so that I can host events in a more financially sustainable way. As much as I absolutely love hosting cupsleeves and community events, they aren’t cheap—especially when I want to deliver them at the standard you all deserve. Formalizing will allow me to continue creating quality experiences without putting myself in a difficult financial position. Another big change is how many events I’ll be hosting. Back in 2023, I was hosting at least two cupsleeves a month—that’s 24 or more events in a single year. While it was amazing, it was also a huge investment of time, energy, and money, and it ultimately led to burnout. This year, I’ll be hosting far fewer events so I can protect my well-being and focus on making each event the best it can possibly be. Before I wrap this up, I want to say thank you—truly, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to everyone who supported ColoradoKpopper before my hiatus, who showed up to events, shared posts, offered help, or simply sent kind messages. Thank you to those who checked in on me during my time away and continued to support from a distance. And thank you to everyone who waited patiently and welcomed me back with open arms. This community exists because of you, and your support is the reason I’m able to return with excitement instead of fear. I don’t take that lightly, and I’m endlessly grateful for each and every one of you. Even with these changes, my excitement hasn’t dimmed one bit. If anything, it feels more intentional, more grounded, and more meaningful than ever before. Thank you for being here, for growing with me, and for continuing to make this community such a special place. I truly can’t wait to see you all again. I hope to catch you at an upcoming event soon—and don’t forget to check out the calendar on my website to see what’s coming up next! Here’s to new beginnings, better balance, and many more memories together — ColoradoKpopper
